Notes

Chill the batter overnight. For more depth of flavor, chill the batter overnight in the fridge. If you're in a pinch, chill it for at least one hour. Skip the non-stick spray. To achieve crisp, evenly golden waffles don't use non-stick spray, just be sure to let your waffle iron heat up for a few minutes on both sides. Set the cooked waffles on a wire rack. To avoid the fresh cooked waffles from losing their crispness, place them on a wire rack. If you set them on a plate, the steam will turn that crisp exterior soggy!
